<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">

<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">This is Anaiis reflective piece on "abundance and Abundance Living:
About Abundance...
On a drive to the local supermarket today, I let myself notice the beautiful, well maintained homes and late model cars that are part of the mix of the neighborhood I call home. In the market, it took a full five minutes to make a choice from among twenty pre-prepped salad options, and at least four organic salad options. I thought to myself with a smile, “Wealth and prosperity is all around. Abundance is everywhere. What a blessing.”
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">

<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">This is a helpful mindset in business and in life. Where attention flows, energy goes, so it’s powerful to train our attention to focus on what we desire. If being in abundance is an experience we desire, then be in abundance by seeing it wherever we are just by noticing. I believe there is also great value in understanding that abundance isn’t only about cash or financial well-being. I enjoy how crazy abundant nature is day after day, month after month, year after year, century after century.

<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">

<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">Nature’s ability to make so much out of the raw ingredients we don’t see is nothing short of astonishing, fun, and an important lesson about the world in which we live. When we see abundance everywhere and dive into that flow, abundance shows up whenever we specifically imagine what we need and want in life and in business. So daydream! Our imaginations are truly unlimited. Imagination is the trigger for attracting the molecules that become what we choose. Daydream liberally and playfully about what you can co-create with colleagues, clients and the skills, intention and focus you bring to the creative process.

<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">

<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">Always be learning, always be curious, and always be open to abundant magic of synchronicity.~
experiences that have given me a deep empathy for those who face
challenges and uncertainty. That, coupled with my signature strengths of
unconditionally and connection, create a safe and non-judgmental
environment for my clients.” She also points out that "there is an old Proverb that says, “As a Person Thinks in Their Heart, so They Are.” No truer word is spoken. How we talk to ourselves and think about ourselves has substantial effect on “who” we become. The fact is, many of us have doubts, worry and fear that are derivatives of someone, maybe even ourselves, telling us we aren’t good enough, or that we will never amount to anything and, at one point, we began to believe it."

This year's International Women's Day will be celebrated by the leadership of Women in Business, Dr. Cheryl Cottle. It will be a Women in Business Summit entitled "The Mental Health and Physical Health and Well-being of Women Entrepreneurs" and it will be in keeping with the International Women's Day theme for this year — "Make it happen."
To "make it happen" Dr. Cottle together with a team comprising of women who are experts in the area of mental health and physical health and wellness and women entrepreneurship, will join her to deliver this week long radio summit.

The goals of the event are:

Start a dialogue on the subject and to remove the stigma and taboo attached to it — to change people's perception of it

Provide awareness
Increase women’s knowledge on the issue over all on how it impact their lives

We will hear the expert knowledge and experience from women, including:

One, women professional practitioners in the field — women who will provide an expert and professional perspective on the topic of mental and physical health and wellness

Two, women who will share their personal experiences of mental and physical health and well-ness

Three, alternative care providers in different modalities

A radio summit seems fitting to open up a dialogue about women's health and mental well-being, because of it's capacity to reach a very large audience worldwide. Dr. Cottle will launch this program through her Women in Business Radio — an online radio program.

"As women in business, we live very busy lives, involving running and managing our businesses, and the many roles we play in our personal lives, as wives, mothers, care-givers to our parents, and involvement in the community, resulting in the neglect of ourselves and ultimately affecting our health and well-ness. We become burnout, and some of us become emotionally and physically sick. How do we circumvent this from happening? We must include our personal needs in our to-do-list, and it must be given priority," Dr. Cottle believes.

Dr. Cottle further points out that in her over 20 years as a business coach, working with women in business, sickness is one of the things that I have found that most women in business don't want to talk about, and feel if they do, it will happen. Thus, when asked the question, do you have a contingency plan, in case you become ill, to see your business through? —their response is generally, "knock on wood" "I hope it does not happen." Many women entrepreneurs prefer to bury their heads in the sand — but sickness can happen and it can happen at any time, and as business owners, we should have a contingency plan in place. We should be knowledgeable about what is mental and physical health? How to circumvent it and, how to treat it? There is traditional care, as well as functional care — a combination of traditional care and alternative care available. In addition, there are also alternative care strategies that we can incorporate into our daily lives.
Suzan St. Maur was Dr. Cheryl Cottle's guest on Women in Business Radio on Monday 22, December, 2014 where they discussed the issue of sickness and entrepreneurship. They looked at how women entrepreneurs who are sick deal with their health and at the same time manage to keep their businesses from failing. Suzan, a cancer survivor and entrepreneur shared her personal experience with cancer and her experience continuing to work — run her own business while undergoing and recovering from treatment of cancer.
"Sickness and Women in Business" was introduced into Dr. Cottle's broadcasting programming, because in her over 20 years experience as a business coach and consultant, she has found that "sickness" is seen as a taboo subject for most women entrepreneurs. They believe that if they talk about it, it will happen and if they don't then it will not happen. Many women in business when asked, do you have a contingency plan against sickness? will say no! followed by "knock on wood, I hope it will not happen." Research also shows that becoming sick or disabled can happen to an entrepreneur, and that it is very important to contemplate one's options; proactively. Research further suggests that as an entrepreneur, you should think about “creating a safety net of benefits” to ensure that your business does not fail in time like these.

Suzan is an entrepreneur since 2011 and works with micro business owners who face the challenge of keeping their business open while coping with the treatment of cancer. Suzan St. Maur is a Canadian-born, UK based business owner who focuses on content writing and consultancy. She also coaches and trains others in blog writing. She is a nonfiction author and runs the writing resource:howtowritebetter.net. Suzan lives near Milton Keynes, England with her university student son and various dogs and cats.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00464864977375079290noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-455036881696790985.post-23378253020154712652014-12-15T22:45:00.000-08:002015-01-04T11:58:37.351-08:00Women in Business Challenges with Theresa Campbell and Dr. Cheryl Cottle

In crisis, I always prioritized based on life, liberty and pursuit of
happiness. First priority is to decide what is a matter of life or
death. Those decisions come first. Next is liberty. Whatever takes my
business to the next level is second. And lastly, is happiness in the
sense that although something may make me feel good in my business like
taking on 5 new clients, it may not be practical from an operational
standpoint.

and Business. Join them life on Monday 29 September on Women in Business Radio. On this day the episode is on Spirituality and the Woman - - How
Important is it to Living a Life of Abundance?

Dr. Cottle is an
advocate of spirituality and the individual and believes that it should
be an integral part to how we live and says that "it should be our core
by which we live and as a result should permeate into every facet of
our lives." In addition, Dr. Cottle believes that self-love, high
self-esteem, high self-concept and self-confidence, are some of the
attributes that a woman should have to live a life of abundance,
meaning, purpose and authenticity.

Kathryn MacDougall brings to the table both her gift to the world as an
humanitarian and her business acumen as an international
business advisor and senior executive, coupled with years spent as a corporate attorney brokering deals and
structuring joint ventures and international mergers and acquisitions. While having been profiled in Women in the
Lead and nominated for a prestigious Woman of the Year award in the Business
category may be nice validations, the thing that has always made Kathryn tick
is being happy and making a difference in people's lives.

Kathryn
left the corporate world behind in 2008 and never looked back. That
decision brought her down a road of self-discovery back home to living a
more authentic life, to a deeper understanding of who she really is and
what she really wants to do...to have fun and to inspire everyone to
live healthier, more abundant and meaningful lives. Her conscious shift
towards focusing on doing what she loves has led her to
delightful opportunities including working with a film production team,
being approached to co-author a book and establishing a business network
for entrepreneurs.

Kathryn MacDougall is also a firm believer that, contrary to popular
belief, we are not born to struggle but to love and be loved, to follow
our dreams and to be really really happy, that life and business are
integrally connected. She hopes that by sharing what she has come to
understand, it will pave the way for others to have the courage to take
the plunge, pursue their dreams and be happy. Kathryn likes to remind people that "you can have your cake and eat it too"

Join Dr. Cheryl Cottle your host of Women in Business Radio and guest Ms.
Roben Hand on Monday 25 August at 11:00am EST to hear their discussion on the
Segment of Spirituality and Entrepreneurship. The title of this episode is
entitled: "Spirituality in Business: Empowering Women at a Deeper and
Spiritual level." The episode is focused on, how women in business
with a low self concept of money achieve financial freedom? Some ask the
question, can spirituality be integrated into women-owned small businesses to
facilitate their growth, development and sustainability? Dr. Cottle
believes that spirituality in business serves to develop a productive economic
entity. It facilitates customer relations, employee - employer
relationship, and employees connectedness to the business. The episode focuses
on how some women because of their relationship with money — because of how
they perceive money in relation to how they perceive themselves, is not able to
create the income that they strive for.

Ms. Hand believes that “women entrepreneurs
will never achieve financial freedom until they overcome their limiting money
patterns.” She states that “a lot of women don’t value who they are and
therefore undercut themselves in the marketplace.” She attributes this attitude
to the role that society plays in the lives of women in forging their
perception of money. She also attributes it to the parenting that they received
that also foster the negative relationship that they have with money. She
however believes that women can be healed. She believes that they can develop a
positive relationship with money by using a holistic approach that looks at
spirituality, a change in their mindset, confidence building, and their
perception of who they are.

Roben Hand, a business coach will share some strategies that she uses to shift
one’s thinking and the perception of money and themselves. You will hear how
one can release self-doubt, build their self-esteem and develop a healthy
perception of money to create wealth. Through this episode we hope that women
in business will be empowered at a deep and spiritual level to appreciate the expertise
that they have and feel comfortable receiving payment that commensurate with
their level of professionalism without guilt or conviction; and start to create wealth
in their lives.

Ms. Roben Hand holds a Masters of Education in Counseling from the University of North Texas and is the CEO of Energized Perspective, a coaching and training company with a mission to empower women to thrive financially while living their purpose.
On Monday August 18, 2014 Dr. Cheryl Cottle and her guest Donya Zimmerman spoke about: The Importance of Spirituality in Business; on Women in Business Radio. Dr. Cottle believes that as entrepreneurs, we need spirituality in our lives regardless of what we are doing. In this discussion, we would get information on how important it is to have spirituality. How we can make spirituality the core of our being.

After graduating from law school, Donya Zimmerman had a private law practice for many years, and though it showed a high level of profitability, she wasn't happy. After soul searching and advice from her father, she decided to get into another business; Community Mediation and Business Consulting, a business that she could transfer her skills. She also participated in educational programs that were influential in preparing her for her new role.

To address this topic, Dr. Cottle, the host of Women in Business Radio developed some questions in which the issue was scaffold to construct meaning on the topic of "spirituality and its role in business." Through this framework the meaning of spirituality and business was constructed. The questions used, did not rigidly hold the notions that were discovered, but they serve as guide guide for the discussion on "spirituality and business."

Donya Zimmerman is the principle owner of Family& Community Mediation and Business Consulting. It provides mediation services and business consulting services to individuals, small businesses, non-profit organizations and mid-sized businesses. Dr. Zimmerman's services are organized into four areas: mediation, business information, minority owned business, certification completion, and workshops/training seminars. Dr. Zimmerman is located in Baltimore, where she has had a law practice for over twelve years before transitioning into her family and community mediation and business consulting business.

Donya Zimmerman is a doctoral in law candidate at the University of Baltimore Law School where her focus were corporate law, business law, and family law. As a business woman, Donya Zimmerman runs her business with spirituality at its core. It is reflected in the value statement of her business and include: Respect and care for individuals, honesty and integrity with the services provided to her clients, love and honor as a mediation and business consulting firm and revenue generating results.
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">Lisa Marie is a very complex person, in that you can look at her from many perspectives including; she has had people in her life who saw her natural talent as a singer and helped her to shape her passion for singing. She is also a mother, giving birth to two children. Further, she has lived in other countries outside of the United States of America, which I am sure, cultures had an impact on who Lisa Marie is today. Lisa Marie is also patriotic to her county of her birth, serving in the U.S Army, defending her country. Further, she wears the scars of war as a wounded veteran. In addition, Lisa Marie is a woman who has experienced great loss; loosing her daughter and her yet-unborn grand-daughter and lastly, Lisa Marie is a businesswoman; a woman who has become financially independent through her business. Lisa Marie's also created a business as an avenue that she can use her God given talent to make a living. As a creative entrepreneur, Lisa Marie's singing business is a gift that she has received from birth, which she also uses to establish herself as a transformational coach.

Marilyn Belleghem was a guest on our Women in Business radio show on June 19, 2014 where she joined Dr. Cheryl Cottle to talk about "Balancing Entrepreneurship and Divorce: How do Women Manage Both?". Marilyn is a personal and professional relationship consultant
and an author of self-help memoirs on personal growth through travel.
She believes that "Living is about learning, It is a lifelong quest."

Marilyn Belleghem is the Founder and Principal Consultant with Marilyn Belleghem Consulting Inc. Marilyn has been in operation since 1978 when she became incorporated. Quest Publishing is a registered division of her business and this segment of her business is involved in
producing and selling books and eBooks that she writes. She notes that "my self-help memoirs
share personal stories that teach life skills particularly around
marriage, parenting, divorce, and managing my businesses. Before establishing her personal business venture, she worked with her husband and was responsible for setting up his business. She shared with us that "I originally
set up and managed my husband’s law practice" and have been a marriage and family therapist since 1981 and I consult and speak on relationships in the workplace.

She further points out that it was "after I graduated with my master’s degree in adult education and applied psychology, I opened my own counseling and consulting practice in the same office space as my husband worked. As a result of his infidelity I moved to my own space and continued my practice while he did everything he could to destroy my success.
Ms. Belleghem's clients are professionals, business owners, employees, family members and associations who hire her to do speaking appointments.

Marilyn believes that passion and self confidence are vital to maintaining the energy to keep the business going through times when it gets crazy busy and when it is too quiet. Without a love of what you do it is easy to give up.

She also shared with us that her love for entrepreneurship has been ignited from her youth. She says, "my spirit has been ignited from my youth as my father ran a business, and running my own business appealed to me. When I started my business I had young children and a demanding life both as the manager of my husband’s law practice and family responsibilities. I could choose my own hours and work when I wanted as an independent professional. Over the years I have considered working for someone else but I was told in my early 90’s that I was not employable as I was too qualified for most jobs that might suit my skills. I’ve had low times when the cash flow was less than I needed to keep my business active but I persevered and built up my speaking and consulting to overcome the problem." She continues "I’ve met the challenge of moving office, hiring and firing staff, marketing my services and the process of producing and marketing books and eBooks."
